The CYC Strength & Conditioning Program helps youth athletes develop both body and mind — focusing on strength, speed, and coordination in a supportive, high-energy environment. Classes emphasize proper technique, injury prevention, and discipline to prepare members for success in sports and in life.
Program Goal
Our goal is to give every athlete the tools, confidence, and motivation to reach their full potential.

Through expert instruction and positive reinforcement, we prepare youth for the demands of competition while minimizing the risk of injury. The program fosters mental toughness, resilience, and leadership — qualities that translate far beyond the gym.
Program Hours
Classes are offered throughout the week for both age groups and ability levels. Current class times and training schedules can be found in the most recent CYC Class Schedule PDF.
Program Offerings
Ages 8–12
An introduction to safe and effective strength training for young athletes. Students learn proper form, balance, and coordination through age-appropriate exercises that build body awareness and confidence.
Ages 13+
For middle and high school athletes ready to advance their training. Classes focus on athletic performance, strength development, and sport-specific conditioning using free weights, resistance training, and mobility work.
Both age groups offer beginner and intermediate/high-intensity options, allowing athletes to progress based on ability and readiness.
Class Structure
Each session focuses on:
- Core stabilization and body control
- Speed, strength, and power development
- Coordination, balance, and running mechanics
- Free weight and ground-based, multi-joint movements
Prior strength training is recommended but not required. Classes are designed to challenge each athlete while emphasizing safety, proper technique, and positive communication.
