Building Strength, Balance, and Confidence Through Gymnastics
The CYC Gymnastics Program is one of the premier programs in Northern California — offering safe, structured, and positive training for ages 3 and up. Our goal is to develop well-rounded, confident individuals through movement, discipline, and fun.
Gymnastics Class Structure & Programs
CYC’s Gymnastics Program provides more than just recreational classes — it’s a structured, supportive environment where children build strength, balance, coordination, and confidence.
Our class sizes are designed to ensure personalized instruction and safety, with a
6:1 student-to-coach ratio for Tumble Tots and an
8:1
ratio for School Age classes.
Mommy & Me (Age 2) - 30 min
Focused on whole-child development through movement and play, the Mommy & Me class includes structured circle time at the beginning and end of class with sensory play, and an obstacle course in between. The caregiver is actively engaged with their child throughout the class helping to build the child's gross & fine motor skills and social skills alike.
Tiny Tots (Age 3) - 30 min
An introduction to gymnastics for our youngest athletes. Students learn basic skills, follow directions, take turns, and practice teamwork — all while gaining confidence and independence.
Tumble Tots (Ages 4–5) - 40 min
Building on fundamentals, Tumble Tots learn basic skills for each gymnastics event and continue developing confidence, coordination, and focus in a safe, encouraging setting.
School Age (Ages 6+) - 45 min
Students progress through seven structured levels that teach balance, flexibility, coordination, and strength. Each level includes four components with ten skills each.
Once a gymnast completes at least seven skills per component, they advance to the next level or component in the following session.
Progress is tracked using CYC Skill Cards, helping students and parents celebrate achievements while encouraging consistency and growth.
