July 2008

It is advancement time for the CYC Rhythmic Program. Each year we test members to see if they are ready to move up to the next level. This year 11 pre-team members will advance to the competitive team. This is the largest number competitors CYC has had on the Rhythmic team. We are very excited about the increased numbers and about the girls potential.
The original members of the team also had the chance to advance to the next level. Most of the girls have advanced including, Angela Shaw, Mariana Escobar and Malvina Kartamyshev to level four. Jordan Ault was previously a level five competitor who will compete in level 7 this season. Katya Demina and Ivonne Galvan have worked really hard and they will advance to level nine. New levels bring new skills for the girls to learn. They are all practicing hard to learn theirs.
Jordan Ault closed out the end of the competitive season at Nationals in Columbus, OH the week of June 5. The girls then spent the month practicing their routines as the new season began June 28. Good luck ladies, we wish you all the best season!
